A manifest form obtained from the Elk Co. Recycling office is required before using Nobel’s Greentree Landfill’s drop off site for tires in Fox Township. This program is available to Elk County residents throughout the year and is free for a limited amount of tires.

Because tires are considered a residual waste anyone taking tires to the landfill to recycle must obtain a manifest form through our office.

This form can be picked up at the office or mailed to you. We will need the following information to complete this form: Name, Address, Phone Number, and Number of Tires. The landfill needs this form to take your tires.

12 Tires or Less:

  • Receive a manifest form from the County Recycling Office (814) 776-5373
  • Tires must be off the rim
  • Tires should not be mixed with other wastes

Over 12 Tires:

  • Contact the County Recycling Office for approval. This is to ensure the tires are not coming from a business.
  • Receive a manifest form from the county
  • Tires must be off the rim
  • Tires should not be mixed with other wastes
  • Large numbers of tires will be handled on a case by case basis. Please call the office for more information.
