Commencing on Friday, September 25, 2026, Media to run the voting machines will be tested.
Commencing on Friday, September 25, 2026, to Saturday, October 3, 2026 – Machines will be set up to charge batteries.
Commencing on Friday, September 25, 2026, to Saturday, October 3, 2026, or until complete –
Final Testing will be held on the voting machines.
All of the above actions will take place in the Gym of the Elk County Courthouse Annex Building. All dates and times are subject to changes without further notice.
Notice
The Elk County Board of Elections will meet and commence on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 7:00 A.M. in Conference Room #2 of the Courthouse Annex Building for the purpose of pre-canvassing of returns of votes casted. This includes absentee/mail-in ballots received for the General Election to be held November 3, 2026.
The Elk County Board of Elections will meet and commence on, Friday, November 6, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. in Conference Room #2 of the Courthouse Annex Building for the purpose of computation and canvassing of returns of votes casted. This includes Absentee/Mail-in, Provisionals, Military and other ballots cast at the General Election to be held November 3, 2026.
The Elk County Board of Elections will conclude by Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. meeting in Conference Room #2..
Board of Elections & Contacts
The Elk County Board of Elections consists of the three County Commissioners, with the exception of when the County Commissioners are on the ballot. At that time the Court appoints a board.
It is the duty of the Election Board to oversee the process of the Elections and Voter Registration Office. The Office registers voters, maintains the voter registration files, prepares ballots, distributes petitions, equips polling places, and performs all other duties involved in the electoral process.
