Residents are reminded that the Med Return Program is still active. Sheriff’s Deputies are available to pick up any unused medications from anyone in Elk County who may have concerns about travelling to any location of the collection boxes during this confusing time. Anyone wishing to drop off unused medications at the Sheriff’s Office should call upon arrival due to the judicial emergency that is still in effect, and a deputy will meet them outside of the courthouse. Simply call the Sheriff’s Office @ 776-5353 Monday thru Friday between the hours of 08:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. to arrange for unused medications to be picked up at your home by a Deputy Sheriff or dropped off to the Sheriff’s Office at the courthouse.
