What would you do if you had a temporary or permanent disability and were not able to negotiate steps into and out of your home?
Ramps of Hope build ramps from a convenient door at your home to ground level. The ramp has an easy gradient and hand rails, allowing a person with a walker or wheelchair to move easily from their house. When a citizen qualifies for a ramp, a member of the Ramp team visits the home to determine the ramp configuration necessary. Each ramp is made to ADA specifications. Ramps are constructed using prebuilt modules which permit an on-site installation in approximately half a day.
Ramps of Hope does not charge qualified recipients for their ramps. Homeowners are able to make a donation if they wish but a ramp will be built regardless if they can donate or not.
